Used the Keynote Remote today for the first time. It was super responsive, easy to setup and all around an amazing addition to my presentation.
I still use the presenter display, this this gives you anouther place to look for notes and next slide info.
Only note is that slides with a lot of builds is a little wierd, since you swipe the screen to advance even of this is not the end results on screen.
However, this might me negated by the use of the the transitions instead of builds.
